Last Trip and Winter Storage for 2016

Last Overnight Trip of 2016 at West Branch SP.

Everything cleaned and into Space Bags!

Started to clean front of camper.
Right side cleaned, left still dirty.

What a difference cleaned!
The front of the trailer takes a beating throughout the camping season.

Ready to Head to Storage in Cortland, OH.

Old GM plant now owned by Canadian Dental Company.
They only use a fraction of the space and storage boats, cars, and RV's off season!

You pull in and they valet you to your winter storage spot!
55 degrees inside!

Sherie and Ritch are storing their camper here too!

No worries when winter weather arrives!!!!!

Super clean!

October Indiana Dunes NP Trip

Left late so spent the night at Bass Pro in Portage, IN.

Nice campground and full for so late in the camping season.
Large sites, room for 2 vehicles plus camper!

Ranger's dog greets you at Nature Center!

Saw-Whet Owl netted, banded and released after presentation!
The cutest owls!

Paddy chillin', Rose reading!

Hiking at local Arboretum!

Another view at Arboretum.

Lunch spot, at the beach parking lot, after leaving campground.

Last night spent at Toledo Bass Pro.
Cabelas and Bass Pro are so much nicer than a Walmart for overnight!

August Godmother/Goddaughters Trip: Acadia NP

Destination: Schoodic Woods NP Campground.

This is across from Mount Desert Island and the busiest area in Acadia NP.

We will take a ferry to get to Bar Harbor for a day trip but the rest of the time we will
explore Schoodic Point!

Easy pull through sites.  Campground just opened last year.

Built a bike box in bed of truck.
Best decision to bring our bikes along!

The girls had a blast on all the nicely paved campground roads.

Plus they discovered all the carriage roads too!

Connie and Maddie working on their Jr. Ranger Assignment!!!!

Always keep a Pez dispenser in your first aide kit.

Maddie the first one to skin her knee, actually twice!

Another view of campsite.

Ferry to Bar Harbor was cold and wet but bright and sunny returning!

Ready for ferry back to Winter Harbor.

We lucked out with a fire every night!

This was a beautiful place to visit!

It was awesome to share a trip with my goddaughters to Acadia!
